Dr Jeffrey L McClendon was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He then graduated Allegheny College (1977) with a B.S. in Chemistry, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (1981), Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry, 2-Years, Ft. Knox , (1988-90), and served in the US Army Dental Corps (1981-1994). In 1997 he graduated from the Lee Institute (level 4).
He is in private practice in Manhattan, providing restorative and Bioesthetic care. He has been a speaker and hands-on course instructor both nationally and internationally.
He is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Bioesthetic Dentistry, and Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontists. In Dr MAC was a co-founding member of the Occlusal Concepts Study Group in NYC. He is an instructor for Foundation for Orognathic Bioesthetics International, New York University Esthetic Continuum, FACE Tx, and directs CORE (Collaborative Orthodontic and Restorative Efforts) workshops. Dr Mac provided the chapter 'Equipe Multidisciplinar em Ortodontia Bioestetica' in Flavio Cotrim-Ferreira and Eduardo Sakai, Nova Visao em Ortodontia e Ortopedia, Funcional dos Maxilares, 345-453, Livraria Santos Editoria Ltda., 2008.
